Executive Team
Christopher P. Molineaux
President & Chief Executive Officer
As president & CEO of Life Sciences Pennsylvania, Christopher Molineaux serves as the chief advocate and spokesman for the life sciences industry that calls Pennsylvania home. Molineaux oversees the strategic direction for the association, assuring Life Sciences Pennsylvania continues to be the catalyst that makes Pennsylvania the top location for life sciences companies.
Molineaux brings to Life Sciences Pennsylvania more than 25 years of experience in the bio-pharmaceutical and health care industries, with front-line experience in developing and executing strategies to navigate a shifting economic and political environment.

Molineaux previously served as vice president of public affairs at the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA). Prior to his role at PhRMA, he was vice president, communications and marketing at the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association, developing public awareness and education strategies related to commercial and government payer systems. Molineaux also worked as a public affairs executive for the federal Departments of Health and Human Services (HHS) and Agriculture, and as a press officer on the White House staff of President George H. W. Bush.
In addition to leading Life Sciences Pennsylvania, Chris Molineaux serves as a non-executive Director of Aclaris Therapeutics, a non-executive Director of NexEos Diagnostics, on the Chester County Economic Development Council and the Valley Forge Tourism & Convention Board. He also serves on the Advisory Boards of BioAgilytix of Durham, NC and St. John Vianney Church of Gladwyne, PA.
Karen DeLone
Sr. Vice President & Chief Operating Officer
Karen DeLone serves as the Senior Vice President & Chief Operating Officer for Life Sciences PA, overseeing member outreach, recruitment and programming throughout the year. Karen is LSPA’s go-to contact for membership-related inquiries, including on-boarding, objective-based sponsorship packages and targeted outreach.
Briana Reyes
Executive Assistant, CEO & COO
Briana is responsible for managing the schedule of meetings and events for Chris Molineaux and Karen DeLone. In addition, she works closely with the LSPA team and accountants to manage the company’s financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable. Advocacy & Strategic Initiatives
Kurt Imhof
Sr. Vice President, State Policy & Public Affairs
Kurt advocates for policies that incentivize the research and development of medicines and technologies and works to ensure public officials understand Pennsylvania’s life sciences ecosystem and its positive affect on patients and the economy. Kurt also oversees our international relationships and works to facilitate discussions between Life Sciences PA members interested in doing business internationally, and international entities interested in the Commonwealth’s life sciences community.
Lara Flynn
Sr. Director, Federal Policy & Public Affairs
Lara advocates for national policies that incentivize the research and development of medicines and technologies and works to ensure our Congressional delegation and federal officials understand Pennsylvania’s life sciences ecosystem and its positive affect on patients and the economy. Lara also oversees our patient advocate group members and works to facilitate connections with researchers, scientists and business leaders working on their respective diseases.
Melissa Callum
Vice President, Strategic Initiatives
Melissa Callum is the Vice President for Strategic Initiatives at LSPA, a new position aimed at creating opportunities for growth and brand visibility within the industry. Melissa is your go-to contact for objective-based sponsorship packages and general information regarding Life Sciences Pennsylvania and our goals as an organization.
Noah Walker
Coordinator, Strategic Initiatives
Noah supports the strategic initiatives teams in developing and maintaining positive relationships with sponsor organizations. He helps coordinate and manage sponsorship fulfillment for all programs across departments. Reach out to Noah for sponsorship opportunities.

Lois Stephens
Director, Membership
Lois oversees the recruitment of new member companies and works to maximize the member experience by building strong relationships and facilitating strategic connections for both new and existing member companies. Lois is the contact for the LSPA group purchasing program, S.A.V.E. – a powerful business solutions network offering exclusive member discounts on products and services.
Sam Woods Thomas
Assistant Vice President, Membership
Sam is tasked with growing and engaging the Life Sciences PA community. Sam comes to LSPA after nearly 15 years in the non-profit and public sectors as an economic develpment practitioner working to grow and support businesses of all types. Contact Sam for membership inquiries.
Emily Boring
Manager, Membership
Emily works to build strong relationships and facilitate key strategic connections through Membership Services. Emily is the first point of contact for membership-related questions, including billing inquiries. Emily can assist existing members in developing a plan to maximize their member benefits and help meet their company and membership objectives.
Kelly Catoia
Manager, Life Sciences Center
Kelly performs administrative and customer service duties in the area of Membership Services, including updating and maintaining the LSPA membership database. Kelly also manages the rental and usage of conference room space in the Life Sciences Center, scheduling and preparing the rooms for member use. Kelly sits at the front desk in the Life Sciences Center, greeting and directing members and guests when they enter the Center.
Michael Barychev
Intern, Membership
Michael works closely with the membership team assisting with our member company database. He also helps the programs team with the execution of events and other miscellaneous projects.
Gabi Forgione
Director, Development and Programs
Gabi is responsible for driving growth and fostering strategic connections within the life sciences community. With over a decade of planning expertise, she helps support the Programs Team with the execution of events. Reach out to Gabi for sponsorship and advertisement opportunities.
Lauren Boyle
Director, Programs
Lauren and the Programs Team are responsible for developing, planning, and executing both in-person and virtual events throughout the year for the life sciences community. She helps deliver value to LSPA’s membership by providing opportunities for education, networking, and thought-provoking experiences.
Natalie George
Manager, Programs
Natalie and the Programs Team produce both in-person and virtual events that provide networking and educational opportunities for the life sciences community. She helps to deliver value to LSPA’s membership by setting up opportunities for members to develop their knowledge base and make strong relationships.
Communications
Kara Evans
Director, Communications
Kara oversees marketing and communication at LSPA, including executive communications, public relations, and corporate projects. Kara is LSPA’s go-to contact for digital advertising opportunities and any press-related opportunities for the organization.
Michael McCloskey
Manager, Communications
Michael directs email communications, our website, statistic tracking & analysis. He also oversees programs and membership-related communications. Reach out to Michael if you want to have your organization’s event on Events Outlook and the LSPA website.
Braden Huntington
Intern, Communications

Braden assists the communication team working closely with social media, website upkeep and assists with email communications. He also helps track statistics produced through various communication vehicles for in depth analysis.

Life Sciences Pennsylvania was founded in 1989 by a biotech scientist at Penn State University. Today it has grown to represent the entire life sciences industry – medical device companies, pharmaceutical companies, investment organizations, research institutions, and myriad service industries that support the life sciences in Pennsylvania.
