With more than 40 events throughout the year, LSPA has something for everyone. Whether you are looking to network with new business connections, get involved in our advocacy activity, or celebrate the achievements of the thriving Pennsylvania life sciences community, there is an LSPA event to meet your needs. Below are some of our signature events that you can participate in each year.
LSPA Signature Events
ANNUAL DINNER & SHOWCASE
Each year, Life Sciences PA honors the leaders of the Pennsylvania life sciences industry with the conferral of awards.
Life Sciences Future SW
The Life Sciences Future SW conference will unite stakeholders from the region and beyond including life sciences start-ups, industry leaders, academic institutions, healthcare providers, and investors.
Annual Tailgate
The Annual Tailgate is an opportunity for guests from across the thriving Pennsylvania life sciences community to gather for the largest networking event of the year.
Life Sciences Future
Life Sciences Future is the annual meeting of the Pennsylvania life sciences ecosystem. All key stakeholders will gather September 25-26, 2025 in King of Prussia.
Operator's Manual
The Operator’s Manual is a digital, complimentary series of quarterly educational sessions designed to give you actionable tips for aspects of day-to-day operations including drug development, legal operations, finance, cybersecurity and raising capital.
Meet the Leaders
Join leaders in the life sciences for an interactive panel discussion. Learn about the successes and challenges they faced throughout their careers, gain insights on various roles and network with industry leaders.
PA Rare Disease Day
These education sessions for members, legislators, and patient advocacy groups will highlight how public policy affects rare disease patients and their access to treatment and therapies.
Advocacy Day
LSPA members travel to the State Capitol in Harrisburg to meet with legislators and their staff and tell their organization’s story.

Patient Summit
Provides patient advocacy groups and public officials a forum to learn about exciting developments in the life sciences ecosystem and better understand the interaction between payers, patients, innovators and policy makers.
Holiday Mixer
Our Holiday Mixer Hosted by LSPA Board of Directors is a time to celebrate the year’s achievements and bring our members together one last time before the end of the year.
Pittsburgh Holiday Luncheon

Life Sciences Pennsylvania was founded in 1989 by a biotech scientist at Penn State University. Today it has grown to represent the entire life sciences industry – medical device companies, pharmaceutical companies, investment organizations, research institutions, and myriad service industries that support the life sciences in Pennsylvania.
