President & Chief Executive Officer
As president & CEO of Life Sciences Pennsylvania, Christopher Molineaux serves as the chief advocate and spokesman for the life sciences industry that calls Pennsylvania home. Molineaux oversees the strategic direction for the association, assuring Life Sciences Pennsylvania continues to be the catalyst that makes Pennsylvania the top location for life sciences companies.
Molineaux brings to Life Sciences Pennsylvania more than 25 years of experience in the bio-pharmaceutical and health care industries, with front-line experience in developing and executing strategies to navigate a shifting economic and political environment.
Prior to joining Life Sciences Pennsylvania in September 2009, Molineaux served as worldwide vice president of pharmaceutical communications and public affairs for Johnson & Johnson. He began his Johnson & Johnson career as vice president of corporate communications at Centocor in Malvern, PA, and was later promoted to vice president for communications of Johnson & Johnson’s global Biotechnology, Immunology & Oncology (B.I.O.) business unit.
Molineaux previously served as vice president of public affairs at the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA). Prior to his role at PhRMA, he was vice president, communications and marketing at the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association, developing public awareness and education strategies related to commercial and government payer systems. Molineaux also worked as a public affairs executive for the federal Departments of Health and Human Services (HHS) and Agriculture, and as a press officer on the White House staff of President George H. W. Bush.
In addition to leading Life Sciences Pennsylvania, Chris Molineaux serves as a non-executive Director of Aclaris Therapeutics, a non-executive Director of NexEos Diagnostics, on the Chester County Economic Development Council and the Valley Forge Tourism & Convention Board. He also serves on the Advisory Boards of BioAgilytix of Durham, NC and St. John Vianney Church of Gladwyne, PA.
Senior Vice President & Chief Operating Officer
Karen DeLone serves as the Senior Vice President & Chief Operating Officer for Life Sciences PA, overseeing member outreach, recruitment and programming throughout the year. Karen is LSPA’s go-to contact for membership-related inquiries, including on-boarding, objective-based sponsorship packages and targeted outreach.
Office Manager, Executive Assistant to Christopher P. Molineaux, President & CEO
Liz Frey is the Executive Assistant to Christopher Molineaux, President & Chief Executive Officer and Karen DeLone, Sr. Vice President & Chief Operating Officer. In addition, Liz serves as the Human Resources Administrator and Office Manager for the Life Sciences PA Team.
Vice President, Strategic Initiatives
Melissa Callum is the Vice President for Strategic Initiatives at LSPA, a new position aimed at creating opportunities for growth and brand visibility within the industry. Melissa is your go-to contact for objective-based sponsorship packages and general information regarding Life Sciences Pennsylvania and our goals as an organization.
Vice President, Federal Policy & Public Affairs
Kurt advocates for policies that incentivize and support the development of medicines and technologies, and ensures public officials – specifically those at the federal level – understand Pennsylvania’s life science ecosystem and its positive affect on patients and the economy. Kurt also oversees our international relationships and works to facilitate discussions between Life Sciences PA members interested in doing business internationally, and international entities interested in the Commonwealth’s life sciences community.
Vice President, State Policy & Public Affairs
Nicole oversees statewide advocacy for LSPA and focuses her efforts in two key areas; improving the business climate for life science companies throughout Pennsylvania and improving patient access to innovative therapies, diagnostics and medications developed by member companies.
Lois oversees the recruitment of new member companies and works to maximize the member experience by building strong relationships and facilitating strategic connections for both new and existing member companies. Lois is the contact for the LSPA group purchasing program, S.A.V.E. – a powerful business solutions network offering exclusive member discounts on products and services.
Emily works to build strong relationships and facilitate key strategic connections by performing administrative and customer service duties in the area of Membership Services. Emily is the contact for updating and maintaining member records in the membership database, as well as general membership and billing inquiries. Emily also oversees rentals and usage of our conference space and Life Sciences Center.
Jill works with the LSPA team to develop and plan programs and events that foster connections for the Life Sciences Membership and community. Handling both in-person and virtual events, Jill and the programs team provide experiences that deliver value to the membership through networking opportunities and educational experiences. With 18 years of experience working in the events industry, Jill is a great source of information for LSPA events to attend.
Lauren and the Programs Team are responsible for developing, planning, and executing both in-person and virtual events throughout the year for the life sciences community. She helps deliver value to LSPA’s membership by providing opportunities of education, networking, and thought provoking experiences.
Amanda and the Programs Team strive to deliver events and programs to the life sciences community that will provide networking and educational opportunities for all. Amanda brings 15 years of events, marketing and communications experience to LSPA and is excited to provide the LSPA community with events that will make an impact.
Kara oversees marketing and communication at LSPA, including digital branding and campaigns and membership and advocacy related communications. Kara is LSPA’s go-to contact for digital advertising opportunities, member spotlights on LSPA channels, and any press-related opportunities for the organization.
Tyler oversees communications for all programs, as well as runs LSPA’s social media accounts. Tyler produces video and graphics content for the organization as well.
